Children's Ministry

 

The Children's Ministry of First Presbyterian Church exists to bring glory to God by educating children from a reformed perspective in biblical truth, worship, and prayer; enabling Christian friendships for mutual encouragement and evangelizing the children of our community.

We partner with you (parents) in developing your child's faith and spiritual growth. Our programs provide a solid biblical foundation for your child to build their life centered around God, and not the world. Our teachers are faithful servants of God dedicated to each child's walk with Christ.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Junior Sunday School (Building C, Room 3106) | Senior Sunday School (Building C, Room 3101) | 9:30AM

Our children's Sunday school program is designed for children aged 4 through fifth grade. We aim to provide our covenant kids with a firm biblical foundation, teaching the building blocks of our faith with Bible lessons, visuals, catechism memory, and memory verses.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

4 Years Old–1st Grade (Building C, Room 3106) | *Children dismissed from Sanctuary during Sunday worship
Children's Church is a place where children aged 4 through 1st grade learn about God, the Bible, and worship. We believe this model allows children to enjoy corporate worship with their family before being dismissed for an age-appropriate Bible lesson and activity.

Grades 2-5 (Sanctuary)
Children in grades 2-5 remain in the sanctuary for corporate worship. We know both the challenges and rewards of parenting in the pews, however we have seen spiritual growth from our children as they learn to worship with their families. Our congregation stands alongside you to encourage this style of worship for your elementary-aged child.

BLAST! KID'S CLUB

4 years old -5th Grade (Building C) | 6-7.30PM

BLAST! Kid's Club is our Wednesday night children's program, a fun VBS-style ministry for children (4 years old-5th Grade) featuring games, theme nights, scripture memorization and Bible lessons.
